This House Party, set to rock the heart of the city, is more than just a celebration; the announcement marks the launch of a ground-breaking partnership with Music Venue Trust aimed at preserving and elevating grassroots music venues regionally.
Headlined by the incredible South Walian rockers Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, with support from the likes of Kikker, The Fiends, Pseudo Cool, Mojo Jnr., Monet, Grey FLX, and Rainyday Rainbow, the line up exemplifies the rich and diverse musical tapestry of Swansea and South Wales, making the House Party a celebration of the region's creative essence. A captivating line up of local emerging artists, thoughtfully selected by Swansea Arena's Creative Learning Producer, James Morgan, promises to provide these musicians with a unique platform to perform for a sizable audience. This event aims to "raise aspirations" and rant these emerging stars the recognition they truly deserve.
The annual Swansea Arena House Party aims to raise £20,000 this year alone to support Music Venue Trust’s mission of preserving grassroots music venues.
Throughout the day there will be creative workshops taking in developing a live show, creating pop art album covers, noise makers taster DJ sessions, graffiti lettering, and drumming, as well as an array of stalls from local grassroots music venues, funders and support organisations, creatives including photographers and videographers, plus much, much more.
